The 2005 original concept of a Varsity Anagram™ is gentle parody of college and university names using anagrams of those names for the purpose of recognition and motivation. Both two- and four-year colleges are represented. 

All the varsity anagrams on this website are copyright protected and the subject of copyright registration with the Library of Congress for the benefit of Varsity Anagram LLC.

In the following pages there are hundreds of anagrams available for license by the named colleges/universities, perhaps to use in giveaways to incoming freshmen, or for sale in campus stores, etc.

The basis of selection of colleges and universities, in the USA, was initially enrollment size which explains why a lot of community colleges appear already and some of the more famous, but smaller, universities do not. There are far fewer colleges in other countries so those countries tend to have a higher proportion of institutions represented here.
